Dashbuilder is a live dashboard platform for trade unions and membership organisations. It pulls your membership system and organising tools onto one searchable screen, filtered so each official sees only their own area.
Features
Live ballots and campaigns
Track returns, actions taken and turnout by region and branch while a ballot or campaign is still running.
Membership insight
See where membership is growing or falling, and spot large workplaces with no rep.
One set of figures at every level
National, regional and branch officials all work from the same live numbers, each scoped to their own level.
Branch self-service
Branch secretaries sign in and see their own members, reps and recent joiners without requesting a spreadsheet from head office.
How the parts connect
- Data (areas → workplaces → members) is uploaded.
- Audiences pick out groups of members from that data, by file, Movement, or rules.
- Trackers add answers about workplaces, employers or branches, which become attributes.
- Metrics turn audiences and tracker answers into numbers.
- Blocks display metrics and attributes; filters narrow them.
- Dashboards hold the blocks; campaigns group dashboards and trackers.
- Users see each dashboard scoped to their area; every sensitive action lands in the audit log.
Your own data
Add survey results, training records or external data, matched to members or workplaces. Start with a regular CSV upload or connect systems via API.
You get to create your own views with a drag-and-drop builder. You can then decide who can see it. What each person can see and download depends on their role and their area. Officials can drill down from the national map to a single region, branch or workplace within their own patch.
Your own look
Each union gets its own Dashbuilder instance, with nothing hard-coded:
• Its own web address, in the format yourunion.dashbuilder.io
• Its own colours and logo
• Dashboards organised around its own structure, whether that's regions, branches, districts, workplaces or other units
